The No. 10 Sun Devils’ next three opponents No. 12 Stanford on Friday, California on Sunday and No. 7 Oregon State next Friday are a combined 53 11. The Bay area schools are out to avenge losses to ASU (20 2) three weeks ago when the Sun Devils were the just the fifth Pac 12 team to sweep at Cal and Stanford.
“The thing I told our team is here we are, this is fun, it’s kind of getting towards the home stretch of the season,” kamagrasydney ASU coach Charli Turner Thorne said. “There is no transformation that needs to be made. We’re not teaching them anything new. They know what they need to do to win. They’ve done it at a high level. The thing for us right now is just to be more consistent with it especially against top teams down the stretch.”
ASU has not played its best the past two weeks, which includes a 68 57 home loss to Oregon State. www.kamagrasydney.nu Nothing came easy in roads wins over Colorado (68 60) and Utah (58 48). Stanford is 4 0 since losing to the Sun Devils with a new three guard starting lineup that includes Briana Roberson.

On Jan. 19, ASU jumped Stanford in the first half for a 39 22 lead, saw its lead cut to one and held on to win 60 57, its first victory at Maples Pavilion since 1984. The Sun Devils’ only sweep of Stanford was in 1983 84, in the pre Tara VanDerveer coaching era when the Cardinal went through a 5 23 season.
“We’re ready for our upswing,” Turner Thorne said. “I also think Stanford and Cal are playing their best basketball. It’s going to be a different game (vs. Stanford). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sildenafil Both teams are going to work hard and play to their strengths. Both are going to emphasize rebounding and taking care of the ball. We certainly know we only played about 23 minutes of good basketball (in the first meeting). It’s not like we played over our heads.”
ASU out rebounded Stanford 44 22 and had an 18 2 edge in second chance points but also committed 20 turnovers, twice as many as the Cardinal, negating some of the board dominance.
Turner Thorne expects point guard Elisha Davis to be more aggressive offensively than she was last week and continues to look for more offense from forward Kelsey Moos, whose health issues have impacted her progress as a sophomore.

Moos and Sophie Brunner had virtually identical statistics last season when both were Pac 12 All Freshman honorable mention. Now Brunner is averaging 12.1 points/7.3 rebounds to Moos’ 7.5/5.5.
“Part of it is she (Moos) goes so hard at everything she does” and wears down, Turner Thorne said. “I think we were making progress, and she’s feeling confident about her shot. We need her to shoot. Her shot is as good as any player on the court.”
Moos has been sick three times since November. She also had similar issues in high school. “We’re doing all the antibiotics and spray,” Turner Thorne said. “There’s nothing else she can really do right now. We’re going to look into it deeper and see if we can help her.”
At 6 feet, Moos makes ASU bigger a necessity in the next three games when she plays on the perimeter.
“I”m completely comfortable playing the 3 (small forward),” Moos said. “I play a little too reserved (offensively) at times where if it’s a little early in the shot clock or I’m not in the perfect flow, I won’t shoot it. I need to look to do it more because then it will make the defense guard me a little bit more and that opens up driving lanes.”
Moos said her health problems impact her fitness. “I’ll be getting my wind back then it knocks me down and takes another week to get going,” she said. “At this point, kamagrasydney it doesn’t really matter how you’re feeling. You just have to be tough and get through it.”
